CTEK MXT 4.0 connector plug

We are delighted to announce that we have developed a dedicated disability vehicle connector plug to work with our MXT 4.0 product, a 24V 4A smart battery charger, to help mobility vehicle owners maximise the performance and ensure that maximum range is achieved from their mobility vehicle batteries.

Mobility vehicles are becoming ever-more advanced, being used more frequently and under more demanding conditions than ever before. As a result, battery care is a fast growing issue, particularly as maximum range and life expectancy drops rapidly due to inadequate charging and maintenance.

Around 80% of all battery failures are due to sulphation caused by undercharging – a direct result of lack of proper care and maintenance, and with lack of adequate maximum battery range being the biggest issue facing mobility vehicle owners, so we have launched the new generation, MXT 4.0 to deliver a safe, simple, intelligent approach to comprehensive battery maintenance that is fast, effective and easy to use.

By not being charged to 100% capacity the mobility vehicle battery will be cycled more often than necessary which will increase stratification, drastically reducing capacity. Furthermore, sulphation will occur, reducing capacity event further and shortening battery life significantly. Our research shows that the MXT 4.0 can extend the life of the battery by as much as three times as well as maximising range.
